There are two basic camps -
1. The "we're here to implement the records act (whatever it's called in your jurisdiction)" crowd.
2. The "we're here to help our organisations do better work" crowd.
One of these camps asks people to do work, but is focused on gains that people from a different organisation care about.
One of these camps asks them to do work, and is focused on gains that those same people will make.
If you didn't know anything about records and were going to place a bet on which one of those camps was most likely to be successful, which would it be?
I'd like to do 2(a): "we're here to help our organisations do better work AND implement the records act in the background - and foreground if needed; but making sure it aligns with / takes into account existing business processes"
