This is an open question for me.
I'm really interested in how you all measure your success - and I hope you'll comment.
I'm looking for all dimensions of measurement.
Organisational and personal in particular.
How do we measure success so that our organisations can understand how successful we are being?
How do we measure our impact on our organisations?
How do we measure success so that we feel like we are being successful?
How do we measure the success of our profession so it can grow?
Mostly I don't see any measurement.
When I see measurement, I can't see how it connects to outcomes.
I can't see how it connects our organisations to understanding how valuable we are to them.
I can't see how it helps us find a sense of professional satisfaction.
If I can’t see it, and we can’t see it, how will how industry see the strategic power of records management?
How do you measure your practice?
Absolutely planning to comment, Karl - I think we are very poor at this, in terms of the "so what" of RM - dialogue to be continued
