If information is an asset
Why don't we have a dollar sign and a value next to every document or record in every repository?
What would the power of that be?
How would it change behavior?
How would it change the way management thought about the money they were spending to manage the information?
Some of those dollar signs might be negative. If some information is an asset then some information might be a liability.
